Lake Kariba, situated along the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, is quickly becoming known as the African Riviera and is a mecca for tourists, fishermen, residents of Zambia and safari goers alike.

The reserve is accessible throughout the year by road, air or boat. Boasting its own private landing strip of 1,200 meters, it is a 25 minute flight from Zambia’s Capital Lusaka or a 45 minute flight from Livingstone International Airport, home to the mighty Victoria Falls. The drive itself takes approximately 5 hours from Lusaka through spectacular scenery or the boat trip from Siavonga (Kariba’s main town) takes 2 hours with a semi ridged speed boat.

There are 90km of roads inside the peninsula providing access to the entire area, ensuring excellent game viewing. Unlike other safari parks, this park benefits from being accessible year round, even in the rainy season.
