Agriculture is a very good example of one of these industries that has gone through a substantial technological shift in recent years.

Carbon Robotics’ Autonomous Weeder robot uses eight high-powered lasers to eliminate weeds on specialty crop farms. The robot has about the same size and weight as a mid-size tractor.

Move over dogs – drones are a farmer’s new best friend! In just a few years there’s been a huge rise in the use of drones in agriculture. Their popularity is set to soar globally as countries grant operators permission to also apply crop protection products.

Most farmers will be taking a step into unknown territory when they buy their first application drone.

Do you know that technology has not limited upto few industries, even in 2021 technology has made its impact in the Agriculture industry.

The interest of Australian farmers in agtech is growing rapidly, says Brad Jones, innovative broadacre farmer and early adopter of agtech. “The younger generation is more acceptive of tech. It is starting to gain momentum and ramp up.”
