The Hidden Epidemic – Stress and Its Impact on Our Health
Not a single day passes in my consulting rooms without seeing patients overwhelmed by stress. This constant pressure is silently destroying people’s health, making them more susceptible to illnesses such as frequent flu, infections, and many other medical conditions.Stress has become one of the biggest drivers of disease in our modern world. Yet too often, the medical system focuses primarily on treating symptoms — prescribing medication, ordering blood tests, and moving on to the next patient — while the root cause remains unaddressed. This approach sometimes makes me wonder if I received the wrong education in my career. What I witness daily feels more like a profit-driven machine than genuine healing. We live in a harsh, often cruel world filled with fake people, misinformation, and endless greed.
Everything seems to revolve around money.
Pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, and parts of the healthcare industry profit heavily from treating symptoms rather than addressing the underlying stress that weakens the immune system and triggers disease.I have hosted many seminars where these truths are openly discussed, yet the message remains the same: Your health is ultimately your own responsibility.
Stress is part of life, but we must learn how to manage it effectively. It affects everyone — from young children who are under immense academic and social pressure, to their parents who carry heavy financial and emotional burdens, right through to the elderly in old-age homes. In many cases, these older people are not suffering from complex medical conditions as much as from loneliness.
They simply need love, support, and regular visits from their children and family. We cannot change the world overnight, but we can protect ourselves and our families by recognising stress for what it is — a silent killer — and taking deliberate steps to manage it through better lifestyle choices, strong relationships, boundaries, and self-care.Your health is your greatest wealth. Guard it fiercely.
We need to support one another and stay healthy. Most importantly, we must stop putting unnecessary health stress on our loved ones by failing to take responsibility for our own well-being.When we neglect our health and allow stress to overwhelm us, we don’t only harm ourselves — we also burden our partners, children, and family members.
They worry about us, care for us when we fall ill, and carry emotional and sometimes financial strain because we didn’t look after ourselves.True love and care begin with personal responsibility. By managing our stress, eating better, resting, exercising, and addressing mental health issues early, we protect not only our own bodies but also the people we love.Let us commit to being healthier versions of ourselves — not just for our sake, but for our families. A strong, healthy you means less worry and more joy for those who love you.Your health is your responsibility.
Your family deserves the best version of you.

PARASITES: THE HIDDEN HEALTH CHALLENGE MANY PEOPLE OVERLOOK.
When people think about chronic health problems, they often focus on hormones, nutrition, stress, inflammation, genetics, or ageing. While all of these factors can play a role, there is another possibility that is often overlooked: parasites.
Parasites have existed alongside humans throughout history. In many parts of the world they remain a significant health concern, yet many people assume they are only a problem in developing countries or areas with poor sanitation. The reality is that parasites can affect people from all walks of life, and some individuals may carry them without obvious symptoms for years.
Parasites are living organisms that survive by obtaining nutrients from their host. They can affect different parts of the body, including the digestive tract, liver, lungs, blood, and other organs. Depending on the type of parasite and the person's overall health, the impact can range from mild discomfort to serious illness.
Many of the symptoms associated with parasites are often vague and can easily be mistaken for other health conditions. Some people experience digestive problems such as bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, or constipation. Others may notice fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, poor concentration, restless sleep, teeth grinding, skin irritations, or a weakened immune response. Children may sometimes experience symptoms such as bedwetting, irritability, or difficulty thriving.
However, it is important to understand that these symptoms alone do not prove the presence of parasites. Many other health conditions can produce similar signs. Proper testing and professional assessment are essential before drawing conclusions.
There are several different types of parasites that can affect humans. Protozoa are microscopic organisms that may contaminate food or water and can cause gastrointestinal illness. Roundworms, hookworms, and pinworms are among the most common intestinal parasites worldwide. Tapeworms can be acquired through contaminated or undercooked meat and may interfere with nutrient absorption. Flukes are another category of parasites that can affect the liver, lungs, intestines, or blood vessels in certain regions of the world.
Exposure can occur through contaminated water, improperly prepared food, poor hygiene practices, contact with infected soil, or travel to areas where parasitic infections are more common. While modern sanitation has reduced the risk in many countries, parasites have by no means disappeared.
One of the reasons parasites are often overlooked is that many chronic symptoms are treated individually rather than investigated as part of a larger picture. Fatigue may be addressed with stimulants, digestive discomfort with medications, or skin issues with topical treatments, while the possibility of an underlying infection may never be explored. This does not mean parasites are always the cause, but it highlights the importance of investigating root causes when symptoms persist.
Maintaining a healthy immune system remains one of the body's best defences against infections. Good nutrition, adequate sleep, proper hydration, regular physical activity, stress management, and sound hygiene practices all play important roles in supporting overall health. Clean food preparation, safe drinking water, and proper cooking of meat and seafood can further reduce the risk of parasitic exposure.
The growing discussion around parasites serves as a reminder that health is often more complex than it appears. Chronic symptoms should not automatically be dismissed, nor should they be assumed to be caused by parasites without evidence. The most sensible approach is to remain informed, investigate persistent health concerns thoroughly, and seek guidance from qualified healthcare professionals who can determine whether testing or treatment is necessary.
True health begins with understanding the body's signals, identifying potential root causes, and making informed decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions. Parasites may not explain every health challenge, but they remain an important possibility that deserves awareness and proper investigation when symptoms persist.
Many people mistakenly believe a single supplement or short cleanse can fully eliminate parasites, but effective treatment is often more complex and depends on correct timing, proper methods, and guidance. Incomplete or incorrect protocols may only reduce parasite activity temporarily, leading to reinfection if underlying causes like exposure, hygiene, or weak immunity are not addressed.
Not all health symptoms are caused by parasites, so proper assessment is essential before treatment. Different types require different approaches.
A lasting solution involves not only targeting parasites but also strengthening the body through better digestion, nutrition, immune support, and reducing ongoing exposure—creating an internal environment where parasites are less likely to thrive.
We Treating Symptoms Instead of Solving Health Problems-
Every time I enter a pharmacy and see shelves full of pre-packed drugs ready for collection, a chill runs through me. It feels like a giant system that must be fed continuously just to keep itself alive. The real root causes of poor health are rarely solved, even though some of these drugs are necessary after certain medical procedures or in particular situations.
Emergency care, surgery, antibiotics, and life-saving drugs have saved countless lives. But an important question remains: are we relying too heavily on medication while overlooking what’s actually causing illness? Most commonly prescribed drugs are designed to manage symptoms, not to address the root factors behind a health problem. Yet long-term use can bring challenges too: side effects, nutrient depletion, dependency, and other complications that deserve attention.
Modern medicine has achieved remarkable advances, saving countless lives through emergency care, surgery, antibiotics, and life-saving medications. However, an important question remains: are we sometimes relying too heavily on medication while overlooking the underlying causes of illness?
Many of the most commonly prescribed medications are designed to manage symptoms rather than address the factors that may have contributed to a health problem in the first place. These include antidepressants, cholesterol-lowering drugs, acid-reducing medications, ADHD medications, blood pressure drugs, antibiotics, diabetes medications, painkillers, and anti-anxiety treatments.
There is no doubt that these medications can be valuable and, in many cases, essential. For people facing serious illness, acute infections, severe mental health challenges, heart disease, or chronic conditions, medication can improve quality of life and even save lives. However, long-term use may also come with challenges, including side effects, nutrient depletion, dependency, and other health complications that should not be ignored.
This is why patients should be encouraged to understand both the benefits and potential risks of any medication they take. Informed healthcare decisions require more than simply treating symptoms; they require understanding the bigger picture.
Many chronic health conditions are influenced by factors that develop over time. Poor nutrition, chronic stress, lack of physical activity, inadequate sleep, inflammation, digestive problems, environmental toxins, and emotional wellbeing can all play significant roles in overall health. When these factors are ignored, symptoms may continue to return even when they are temporarily controlled with medication.
A growing number of healthcare practitioners now recognise the importance of addressing these underlying influences. Improving dietary habits, exercising regularly, managing stress effectively, getting quality sleep, maintaining a healthy weight, supporting gut health, and ensuring adequate nutrient intake can all contribute to better long-term health outcomes.
These lifestyle strategies are not necessarily alternatives to medical treatment. In many cases, they work best alongside professional medical care. By improving the body's overall function and resilience, some individuals may find they require fewer interventions over time, always under the guidance of qualified healthcare professionals.
The goal should never be to reject modern medicine. Instead, it should be to use the best of both worlds: appropriate medical treatment when needed, combined with a deeper understanding of the root causes that influence health and disease.
True wellness is not simply the absence of symptoms. It is the result of creating an environment within the body that supports healing, resilience, and long-term vitality. By taking an active role in our health, asking questions, and working with experienced healthcare professionals, we can move beyond symptom management and focus on building a stronger foundation for lifelong wellbeing.
Every day in my practice, I see the same patterns, which is why I share these short weekly messages. So many people are struggling with their health, yet many do not realise it because they are only treating symptoms rather than addressing the underlying causes. Others purchase supplements based on advice from social media or recommendations from health shops, without truly understanding what their bodies need.Thank you for the overwhelming response to this weekly article. My goal is simply to provide information that helps you make more informed decisions about your health and wellbeing.I encourage you to take a look at our testimonials and learn how others have taken proactive steps to improve and maintain their health. Prevention and proper maintenance are always easier than trying to recover from years of neglect. One thing I have learned over the years is that people often struggle to recognise extraordinary qualities, knowledge, or achievements in someone they have always known as ordinary—a family member, a friend, or someone from their own community. Yet sometimes the greatest insights come from those who have spent years quietly gaining practical experience and helping others improve their lives.
Message - Common Sense and Your Health
One of the biggest problems I see today is that many people have lost their common sense when it comes to their health.
Think about it for a moment.
If you are driving your car and a red warning light suddenly appears on the dashboard, what do you do? Most people immediately take their vehicle to a service centre or mechanic they know and trust. They do not ignore the warning light for months and hope it disappears by itself. They understand that if a small problem is ignored, it can become a very expensive problem later.
Yet when the human body gives warning signs, people often do the exact opposite.A little fatigue. Poor sleep. Digestive problems.
Headaches. Skin issues. Weight gain. Low energy. Joint pain.
These are often the body's warning lights.
Instead of seeking proper advice and understanding the root cause, many people ignore the symptoms until they become severe. Others rush to Google, spend hours reading conflicting information, watch social media influencers with little practical experience, some rely on AI-generated content without understanding whether it applies to their situation with no pratica; experience. Then they drive to the nearest health shop or order products online, convinced they have found the solution. Before long, they walk out with a bag full of supplements, powders, pills, detox products, and miracle cures that promise everything but often deliver very little.
Or, instead of looking for the root cause, many people rush to the nearest medical clinic or Doctor to treat the symptom represented by the "red warning light." They often leave with a blood test, a diagnosis based on the symptoms they presented, and one or more prescriptions to manage those symptoms. While there is certainly a place for medical care, especially in emergencies and acute situations, many people never stop to ask the next important question: Why did the warning light appear in the first place? Treating the symptom may provide temporary relief, but if the underlying cause is not addressed, the body will often continue sending signals that something is wrong.
The question is simple: Why do you think so little of your body?
Your car can be replaced. Your body cannot. You only get one body for your entire life.
The human body is the most complex and remarkable system ever created. When it begins to show warning signs, those symptoms are often messages that something deeper needs attention. Covering up symptoms without understanding the cause is like putting tape over a red warning light on your dashboard and pretending the problem no longer exists.
Real health starts with understanding why the body is struggling.
It requires asking questions. What is causing the inflammation? Why is digestion not working properly? Why is the immune system under pressure? Why are hormones out of balance? Why is energy low? Why is the body unable to repair and recover properly?
When a serious diagnosis finally arrives, many people are left asking, "Why me?" They struggle to believe that it could happen to them. Yet the body has often been trying to get their attention for years. The warning lights were there all along. Small symptoms became bigger symptoms, and bigger symptoms eventually became disease. The body was speaking, but nobody was listening. Health problems rarely appear overnight; they are usually the result of a process that has been developing silently for months or years. The question should not be, "Why me?" but rather, "What was my body trying to tell me all this time?"
The answer is rarely found in a single pill or supplement. You need to know what is wrong on Cellular en Gene levels.
When seeking health advice, consult a healthcare practitioner with years of practical experience, a proven track record, and a deep understanding of how the body works. Look for someone who practices what they preach, maintains their own health, and serves as a living example of vitality and wellbeing at any age. True health guidance comes not only from knowledge, but also from experience and results. Someone who want to heal you an d not treat your symptoms.
Cancer isn’t just a tumor to be cut, burned, or blasted away. We must find the root cause—the environment in our body that forces cancer cells to grow. Cancer cells form because the body’s conditions make them find a way to survive. To understand the suffering and emotional stress of a cancer patient, it needs to hit close to home, like your child, mother, father, or husband. They need your support and much more to survive. We need to stop thinking of cancer as only a tumor and focus on what causes it.
Sugar Is Not Poison: The Body’s Sophisticated Sugar Code
The human body does not treat sugar like a random poison. It maintains sophisticated systems to detect glucose, produce it, store it, release it, burn it, and incorporate it into structures and signals. This constant regulation reveals a simple truth: sugar is not the enemy—dysregulation is.When blood sugar drops, the body does not celebrate. It activates gluconeogenesis in the liver and kidneys to manufacture new glucose from non-carbohydrate sources, and glycogenolysis to break down stored glycogen. These processes exist because red blood cells, parts of the brain, immune cells, and repair tissues fundamentally require glucose.
Blood sugar is guarded as a vital survival variable. After meals, glycogenesis stores excess glucose as glycogen, glycolysis generates ATP for immediate energy, and lipogenesis converts surplus carbohydrate into fat when stores are full. The body expertly manages sugar across fasting, feeding, and stress.Yet sugar is far more than calories. It serves as control, signal, storage, energy, structure, and code. Sugars form the backbone of DNA and RNA, coat cell surfaces as glycans, build mucus, modify proteins and lipids, and enable immune recognition. Different sugars—glucose, mannose, fucose, sialic acid, and others—perform distinct roles as fuel, fiber, structural elements, or molecular messengers. Nature is built on carbohydrate biology. Plants rely on cellulose, starch, pectin, and glycosides that fine-tune the absorption and effects of bioactive compounds.
I do not want to give you all the technical details
In short, you must control your sugar intake, as excessive consumption can lead to obesity and other health complications."
Losing a daughter — or any child — to cancer is an unimaginable pain. No parent should ever have to watch their child suffer for years through the brutal side effects of chemotherapy, only to lose them in the end. The helplessness, the exhaustion, the financial strain, and the emotional devastation that families go through is crushing. What you’re describing is a grief that never fully leaves.
TAKE NOTE- NSAIDs block inflammation enzymes but those same enzymes protect the stomach lining, kidneys, and heart, so they can cause ulcers, kidney damage, and heart risks. Steroids reduce inflammation but also shut down the body’s own cortisol production, thin bones, raise blood sugar, waste muscle, and affect mood.

Over the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of writing several books about health and the natural functioning of the human body, as well as a few others aimed at inspiring young people to discover their true potential. One of these books, “Discover Yourself to Become Yourself,” has already been reprinted four times. This book can help awaken a deeper understanding of yourself, your purpose, and your health. I am currently busy writing a book about healing yourself—the real healing process and the simplicity of how the body, mind, and soul can restore themselves. The aim of the book is to help people understand themselves better, take responsibility for their own health, stand on their own feet, and become less dependent on a medical system that often tries to control every aspect of health.

If you’ve been receiving cancer treatment for years from the same medical doctor, it’s wise to seek a second opinion. Many doctors only focus on the cancer itself and overlook what the treatment is doing to the rest of your body. Sometimes, real healing begins when you stop seeing only the cancer and start looking deeper — at what your body truly needs to repair, rebuild, and restore balance.

Healthy Hair Starts from Within: Why Internal Health Matters More Than Shampoo
Most people chase thicker, stronger hair by switching shampoos and expensive hair products. Yet hair is not created on the scalp — it is grown by your biology. True hair health depends on how well you digest and absorb nutrients, your iron and other mineral levels, sleep quality, stress management, hormone balance, and daily habits. This explains why some people spend years on high-end treatments with little success, while others see noticeable improvements in hair strength and reduced fall simply by improving their overall health. Ayurveda recognized this principle thousands of years ago: healthy hair is not something you apply externally, but something your body produces when properly nourished from the inside.External products can help clean or protect the hair shaft, but they cannot fix deficiencies, poor circulation, hormonal imbalances, gut issues, or chronic stress — the real drivers of hair thinning and excessive shedding. When the body receives the right building blocks and conditions, it naturally prioritizes stronger, healthier hair growth.Focusing on root causes rather than surface-level symptoms consistently produces better and more lasting results. Instead of getting overwhelmed by conflicting advice online, prioritize foundational health: optimize digestion and nutrient absorption, support iron and thyroid function, improve sleep, manage stress, and balance hormones.Beautiful hair is ultimately a reflection of internal wellness. Nourish the body properly, and it will express that vitality through your hair.
It is good to do yearly medical blood tests to check for chronic diseases or cancer, but the more important question is: What are you doing to prevent disease and maintain your health before something goes wrong?Medical tests are mostly designed to detect disease, not necessarily to maintain health. My passion has always been to help people heal — to help you feel better, look better, and regain your health naturally. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that true health is not about quick fixes or simply treating symptoms. It’s about understanding the body properly, identifying the root causes, and supporting the body so it can restore itself naturally.
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, and every person has taught me something valuable. Through practical experience and constant learning, I’ve seen how much more effective health support becomes when you focus on the whole body instead of just one symptom. Real health takes understanding, patience, and the willingness to keep learning.
Every month, when I spend time learning from mentors and expanding my knowledge of real health, I realize how much my passion continues to grow. The more I learn, the more I understand how much there still is to discover. This continuous learning, together with years of practical hands-on experience, makes my work easier and allows me to help people in a more meaningful way.
I want to thank every client who has supported me, sent messages, and referred others. I deeply appreciate every person who travels from across South Africa and even from international locations to come for assessments. Your trust and believe in me means a great deal to me. This work has never been just a business. It has always been a calling. Seeing people regain their energy, improve their health, and enjoy life again is what motivates me every day. To everyone who has trusted me with your health journey — thank you. Your progress, your stories, and your commitment inspire me to keep learning, growing, and helping others. My goal remains the same: to continue finding the root causes of health problems and helping people restore their wellbeing naturally.

The saying “a prophet is not acknowledged in his own land” means that people often fail to recognize or value the wisdom, talent, or significance of someone from their own community or homeland. It suggests that familiarity breeds skepticism or indifference, and individuals are more likely to be respected or appreciated by outsiders than by those closest to them.
TAKE NOTE -The medical and natural health professions are causing public alarm with frequent warnings about serious health issues like cancer, prompting people to rush to doctors for tests and deplete their medical funds. The natural health industry promotes supplements as alternatives, often with bold promises, but many products lack transparent ingredient lists, raising concerns about their legitimacy. Consumers are advised to avoid purchasing such products, as they may be marketed online primarily for profit rather than genuine health benefits.

BOODSKAP
CANCER- The medical system need to take notice
There is growing concern from many people that parts of the modern medical system, especially when it comes to cancer treatment, are not always easy on the body. Treatments like chemotherapy are designed to destroy rapidly dividing cancer cells, but they can also affect healthy cells. This is why many patients experience strong side effects and feel physically weakened during treatment.

However, it is important to be careful not to oversimplify this. Chemotherapy has helped extend and save many lives, even though it can be physically demanding. The real challenge is that it is often a trade-off between targeting the disease and managing the impact on the rest of the body. What is true, though, is that during such treatments the body is under significant stress and has increased nutritional and metabolic needs. Supporting the body properly during this time — with adequate nutrition, recovery, and medical guidance — becomes critically important.
