Every day in my practice, I see the same things, which I share in these short messages. Our people are sick, but many don’t realize it because they only treat symptoms. Others buy supplements from shops based on what they read on social media. Thank you for the great response to this weekly article. This information is meant to inform you. View our TESTIMONIALS and start maintaining your Health.  People struggle to see extraordinary qualities in someone they've known as ordinary, like a family member or friend.
The Supplement Trap
One thing that still surprises me after many years in practice is what happens when a new client arrives for their first consultation. They often unpack a bag full of supplements and medications onto my table. Bottle after bottle comes out. As I start asking questions about what they are taking and why they are taking it, I frequently discover that the same ingredients appear in multiple products.

Many have purchased supplements online, from health stores or based on recommendations from social media, friends or marketing claims. When I calculate the number of pills, capsules and powders some people take every day, I can hardly believe it. The assumption seems to be that more supplements automatically mean better health.

Unfortunately, that is often not the case.

Be aware of duplication between products.
• Understand that some nutrients work together and may require proper balance.
• Focus on nutrition, sleep, stress management and lifestyle first.
• Seek advice from qualified professionals who understand your individual health situation.
• Avoid self-diagnosing based solely on social media posts and online trends.
The goal is not to own the most supplement bottles. The goal is to understand your body and provide it with the support it actually needs.
Real health does not come from blindly swallowing handfuls of pills every day. It comes from identifying the underlying imbalances, correcting lifestyle factors and creating the conditions that allow the body to function at its best.
You would think that if someone is taking multiple supplements, protein shakes, collagen products and prescription medications every day, they should be feeling fantastic and looking healthier than ever.
Yet many of the people I see are still struggling with fatigue, weight gain, poor sleep, digestive issues, inflammation and low energy. See less

One of the biggest mistakes people make is taking supplements without understanding what is actually happening inside their bodies. They chase symptoms instead of identifying the root cause of the problem.

Another common issue is duplication. The same vitamin, mineral or herbal ingredient may appear in three or four different products. The person has no idea they are taking multiple versions of the same ingredient every day.

I also see people spending thousands on supplements while continuing with poor eating habits, poor sleep, chronic stress and a lack of physical activity. No supplement can compensate for a lifestyle that continually works against the body's ability to function properly. And your supplement need to reach your cells-- and in most it only reach your exit pathways.

Supplements should support health, not replace healthy habits. Do a full health assessment with a Professional Health practitioner and get healthy.  Take care of your health.

Message - Take care of your body
One of the saddest parts of my years in practice is seeing people become sick. It is seeing people ignore the warning signs long before serious disease develops.
Nothing affects me more than when I warn a client orr somebody close to me about a serious health problem that may develop if they continue with the same lifestyle habits, only to see them ignore the advice and carry on as before. Years later, they are diagnosed with a metabolic disease, heart condition, diabetes, or even cancer, and suddenly they want the medical system to restore the health they could have protected for years.
Prevention is always easier than treatment.
Many people believe serious diseases appear overnight, but in most cases the body has been sending warning signals for years. Weight gain, fatigue, poor sleep, digestive problems, chronic inflammation, high blood sugar, hormonal imbalances and ongoing stress are often signs that the body is struggling to maintain balance. Prescribed drugs will control the symptoms with lots of side effects.
Unfortunately, many people ignore these signals until a major diagnosis forces them to pay attention.
What saddens me even more is that many people do not consider the impact their illness has on their loved ones. When a serious disease develops, the entire family is affected. Spouses, children, parents and close friends all carry the emotional burden. They experience the stress, uncertainty, financial pressure and fear that often accompany long-term illness and treatment.
I know this personally. I have experienced the loss of a family member to cancer. I have witnessed the pain, suffering and emotional strain that cancer places on both the patient and the family. I have seen the difficult treatments, the devastating side effects chemo, the hope, the hospital visits and the emotional toll that the disease can take on everyone involved.
This is why I am so passionate about prevention.
Maintaining your health is not only about yourself. It is also about your family, your children, your spouse and the people who love you. The choices you make today can influence your quality of life for years to come.
Your body gives you warning signs for a reason. Listen to them while there is still time to make changes. Do not wait for a diagnosis to become serious about your health.
The greatest investment you can make is not in treating disease after it develops, but in protecting and maintaining your health before it is lost.
Do not assume that taking prescription medication or swallowing handfuls of supplements will automatically protect your health. Medication and supplements may have a place, but neither addresses the root cause if you do not understand what is happening inside your body.
True health begins with understanding why symptoms are developing in the first place. Simply treating symptoms without identifying the underlying causes can leave the real problem untouched.
Another mistake I see every day is people diagnosing themselves through social media. They follow health influencers, read a few posts, watch a few videos and become convinced they have a particular condition. This often leads to confusion, wasted money and disappointment because they are treating a problem they may not even have.
Every person is different. What works for one person may not work for another. That is why proper assessment, professional guidance and a thorough understanding of your individual health status are so important.
If you do not identify the real cause of your health challenges, you may spend years chasing symptoms while the underlying problem continues to grow.
Weight Loss Struggle Many Women Don't Understand.
Over the years, I have written many articles about hormone imbalances, estrogen dominance and weight gain. Yet it remains one of the biggest health challenges I see among women today.
What concerns me is that many women still believe they are simply overweight and that the solution is another diet, another weight-loss programme, another gym instructor or the latest weight-loss drug and the favourite- PEPTIDE GLP 1-
Many spend years fighting their bodies instead of understanding what their bodies may be trying to tell them.
I regularly consult women in my practice who have tried everything. They have counted calories, followed strict diets, exercised intensely, purchased countless supplements and spent significant amounts of money searching for answers. Yet they continue to struggle with weight gain, fatigue, bloating, poor sleep, headaches, mood changes and low energy.
The problem is that body weight is often only one piece of a much larger puzzle.
Many women dealing with hormonal imbalances, endometriosis, chronic inflammation, digestive dysfunction or ongoing stress become trapped in a cycle of frustration. They start removing more foods, trying more supplements and becoming increasingly restrictive with their diets.
Eventually, many lose trust in their own bodies.
They become afraid of eating certain foods because they associate food with symptoms. Every meal becomes a source of anxiety rather than nourishment.
But symptoms are not always random.
The bloating, fluid retention, headaches, food sensitivities, cycle-related flare-ups, poor sleep and constant exhaustion may all be connected through complex interactions involving hormones, digestion, inflammation, immune function and the nervous system.
When women only focus on the number on the scale, they often miss the deeper issues that may be contributing to their health struggles.
Real progress begins when we stop viewing the body as the enemy and start looking for patterns. Understanding how digestion, hormones, stress, inflammation, detoxification pathways and cellular health interact can completely change the way symptoms are viewed. Knowledge creates clarity. And clarity often reduces fear.
When women begin to understand what is happening inside their bodies, they can make better decisions, ask better questions and focus on supporting the systems that influence their overall health rather than endlessly chasing the next quick fix.
The goal should never be to punish the body into losing weight. Stop following the crowd and the old believe that Pharma is the king- and medical system is correct.
The goal should be to understand why the body is struggling in the first place and then create the conditions that support better health, better energy, better sleep and a healthier metabolism.
Remember, it often takes years for weight gain to develop. The body does not usually gain excess weight overnight, and sustainable weight loss rarely happens overnight either.
True health is not about finding the fastest way to lose weight. It is about restoring balance, improving your body's ability to function properly and making changes that can be maintained for life.
Be patient with your body. The goal is not simply to lose weight quickly, but to build better health that lasts.
When you begin changing your lifestyle habits and work with an experienced healthcare practitioner to identify the true root cause of your health challenges, you give your body the opportunity to function and recover more effectively.
Your weight problem is not always purely physical. In many cases, emotional factors may also play an important role.
Over the years in my practice, I have seen many people who struggle with weight despite trying numerous diets, exercise programmes and supplements. Often, there are deeper issues involved, including chronic stress, emotional trauma, anxiety, poor sleep, relationship challenges or long-term emotional burdens.
Food can sometimes become a source of comfort, a coping mechanism or a response to emotional stress rather than physical hunger.
This does not mean the problem is "all in your head." It means that the body and mind are closely connected. Emotional stress can influence hormones, appetite, digestion, sleep quality and metabolism.
That is why successful weight management often requires looking at the whole person, not just the number on the scale. When both the physical and emotional factors are addressed, lasting improvements become much more achievable
Why So Many People Still Struggle With Their Health
Every day I hear the same stories.
People tell me how desperately they want to lose weight, feel better, have more energy, sleep through the night and regain their health. They share stories of trying countless diets, exercise programmes, supplements, medications and health plans. Many have spent thousands, sometimes tens of thousands, searching for answers.
What saddens me is how often these people are left disappointed.
They have followed advice from so-called specialists, health gurus and experts, only to find themselves in exactly the same position months or years later. Many begin to feel frustrated and hopeless because despite all the money spent, their health continues to decline.
Over the past 25 years in practice, I have learned that many people are looking in the wrong direction. They are searching for the next miracle supplement, the next diet or the next treatment, while ignoring the underlying reasons why the body is struggling in the first place.
I also have people in my practise who are satisfied because they receive prescribed drugs every month and their symptoms appear to be under control. But very few ask what caused the problem in the first place. Even fewer understand the potential side effects that can develop after years of medication use.
Controlling symptoms is not always the same as restoring health.
The body is incredibly intelligent. Symptoms often represent warning signals that something deeper is out of balance. Simply masking those signals does not necessarily correct the underlying dysfunction.
Another common misunderstanding is the belief that vitamins and supplements alone will restore health. Unfortunately, it is not that simple. If the body is overloaded with chronic inflammation, toxins, poor digestion, nutrient absorption problems, unbalanced hormones and ongoing stress, even the best supplements may produce limited results.
Before rebuilding health, many people need to address the factors that are continuously draining their body's ability to heal and repair itself.
Inflammation, digestive dysfunction, poor sleep, chronic stress, toxic exposures, blood sugar imbalances and mitochondrial dysfunction allergies can all place enormous strain on the body. Unless these issues are identified and addressed, progress can remain frustratingly slow.
True health is not found in a bottle, a pill or a quick fix. It comes from understanding how the body works, removing the obstacles that interfere with normal function and creating the conditions that allow the body to repair itself.
The goal should not simply be to manage symptoms. The goal should be to improve the body's ability to function as it was designed to function.
It begins with a thorough assessment of your body and your current health status. Instead of simply chasing symptoms, the goal should be to identify the root causes that are creating those symptoms in the first place.
Many people are told they are healthy because their blood tests fall within the normal range. While blood tests can provide valuable information, they do not always reveal what is happening inside your cells, your mitochondria, your metabolic pathways or how your genes are being expressed.
When we focus on identifying underlying dysfunction, reducing inflammation, improving cellular function and supporting the body's natural repair systems, we move beyond symptom management and start addressing the foundations of health.
That is why finding the root cause will always be more valuable than simply covering up the warning signs. True health starts at the cellular level.
What you need is a health practitioner with years of practical experience, someone who has worked with real people and real health challenges, not just textbook knowledge.
You need a practitioner who has access to the correct health assessment technology to help identify potential underlying imbalances and root causes rather than simply focusing on symptoms.
Just as importantly, your practitioner should be an example of good health. When you look at them, you should see energy, vitality and a commitment to living the principles they recommend to others.
Experience, proper assessment and leading by example are qualities that matter when helping people improve their health.
Cancer isn’t just a tumor to be cut, burned, or blasted away. We must find the root cause—the environment in our body that forces cancer cells to grow. Cancer cells form because the body’s conditions make them find a way to survive. To understand the suffering and emotional stress of a cancer patient, it needs to hit close to home, like your child, mother, father, or husband. They need your support and much more to survive. We need to stop thinking of cancer as only a tumor and focus on what causes it.
Message- Cancer and prevention -
Here is a short summary of how cancer may begin inside the body long before a tumour is ever detected. There is far more information available, but most people are constantly exposed to fear surrounding cancer.
Modern medicine often focuses heavily on testing, scans and treatments once disease has already progressed, while far less attention is placed on prevention, cellular health, inflammation, oxidative stress, mitochondrial function and long-term metabolic balance.
Many people today are deeply frightened of cancer, but they are also becoming increasingly concerned about the severe effects chemotherapy can have on some patients. Families are witnessing the physical and emotional toll cancer treatments may place on the body, which creates even more fear around the entire process.
This is why prevention, early lifestyle intervention, nutritional support, reducing chronic inflammation and supporting the body's own repair systems are becoming more important conversations worldwide.
Understanding how the body breaks down over years may help people focus more on protecting their long-term health instead of only reacting once disease is already advanced.
Cancer is often spoken about as though it appears suddenly when a tumour is detected. But long before a tumour becomes visible, the body may already be dealing with years of cellular stress, inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative damage and impaired repair mechanisms. The tumour is frequently the downstream result of a much larger biological breakdown rather than the true beginning of the process.
Every second, billions of cells divide inside the body. This process is tightly regulated through DNA repair systems, tumour suppressor proteins, antioxidant defences, mitochondrial signalling and immune surveillance. Healthy cells constantly receive instructions about when to grow, when to stop, when to repair damage and when to self-destruct if damage becomes too severe.
Cells move through multiple checkpoint systems before division occurs. These checkpoints assess DNA integrity, oxidative stress levels, nutrient availability and cellular energy status. When damage is detected, repair mechanisms activate, cell division pauses and apoptosis may be triggered to remove compromised cells. But these protective systems require large amounts of nutrients, minerals and cellular energy to function properly.
Cancer is rarely a sudden event. Long before a tumour is detected, the body often experiences years of accumulated cellular stress, chronic inflammation, oxidative damage, mitochondrial dysfunction, and weakened repair systems. The visible tumour is usually the end result of a much deeper biological breakdown.
These systems continuously check for damage and eliminate compromised cells. However, when cells face ongoing stress from poor diet, toxins, chronic inflammation, high blood sugar, or nutrient deficiencies, these protective systems begin to fail.As oxidative stress rises and mitochondria (the cell’s energy producers) become damaged, cells can shift into survival mode. DNA repair slows down, damaged cells are less likely to self-destruct, and abnormal cells start to survive and multiply.
Over time, the surrounding tissue environment also changes, supporting further growth while weakening immune control. The article emphasises that cancer is not simply a genetic disease in isolation.
It is a complex, systemic process involving disrupted metabolism, poor cellular communication, chronic inflammation, and declining repair capacity.
Genes respond to the body’s internal environment — meaning nutrition, oxidative balance, mitochondrial health, and lifestyle factors all play important roles in either supporting or undermining the body’s natural defences. In short, cancer often develops as a slow, progressive failure of the body’s regulatory systems rather than the sudden appearance of “one bad cell.”
Working with clients who have cancer is emotionally and mentally tough. This is what I see on a weekly level.
Most live with a constant fear of “Will I survive?” They often feel overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted
While many are open to supportive approaches, most still put their main trust in conventional medical treatment like surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Pushing too hard against their medical choices can create resistance.
Losing a daughter — or any child — to cancer is an unimaginable pain. No parent should ever have to watch their child suffer for years through the brutal side effects of chemotherapy, only to lose them in the end. The helplessness, the exhaustion, the financial strain, and the emotional devastation that families go through is crushing. What you’re describing is a grief that never fully leaves.

Over the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of writing several books about health and the natural functioning of the human body, as well as a few others aimed at inspiring young people to discover their true potential. One of these books, “Discover Yourself to Become Yourself,” has already been reprinted four times. This book can help awaken a deeper understanding of yourself, your purpose, and your health. I am currently busy writing a book about healing yourself—the real healing process and the simplicity of how the body, mind, and soul can restore themselves. The aim of the book is to help people understand themselves better, take responsibility for their own health, stand on their own feet, and become less dependent on a medical system that often tries to control every aspect of health.

Message -Your Health Is Your Responsibility
The medical profession plays a very important role in society. When people are involved in accidents, experience emergencies, require surgery, or face serious medical conditions, doctors, nurses, hospitals, and emergency healthcare teams are essential. Modern medicine has saved countless lives and remains critically important for acute care and emergency intervention.
But outside of emergencies and crisis situations, maintaining your health becomes your personal responsibility.
Too many people wait until their bodies completely break down before paying attention to their health. They ignore warning signs for years, live under chronic stress, eat poorly, sleep badly, avoid movement, and then expect medication alone to solve problems that developed slowly over decades.
True healthcare should not only begin when disease appears.
It should begin long before that.
This is why regular preventative assessments are so important. Every person should work with a qualified healthcare practitioner who has years of practical experience and who looks at the body as a complete biological system. A full health assessment at least twice a year can often identify stress patterns, inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, and lifestyle factors before they become major health crises.
Your body constantly gives signals long before serious disease develops.
The problem is that most people ignore those signals until symptoms become severe.
It is also valuable to seek support from professionals such as chiropractors, acupuncturists, movement specialists, and experienced natural health practitioners who focus on restoring balance and function within the body. The goal should always be improving the body’s ability to heal, regulate, recover, and function properly.
One of the biggest problems today is that many people take advice from social media content creators who have little practical experience working with real patients. Reading information online and treating thousands of people over many years are not the same thing. Real clinical experience matters. Practical observation matters. Results matter.
Always seek advice from people who have worked directly with clients for years and who understand how the body functions in real-life situations — not only in theory.
Winter is also the season where many people become sick. Doctor waiting rooms become full, medications increase, and people often move from one infection to the next. Yet in many cases, a few basic preventative habits could make a major difference.
Good sleep, proper nutrition, hydration, stress management, movement, immune support, digestive health, and reducing chronic inflammation can help strengthen the body’s resilience during winter months. Prevention will always cost less than disease management later.
Your body is the most important investment you will ever have.
Take care of it before illness forces you to.
If you’ve been receiving cancer treatment for years from the same medical doctor, it’s wise to seek a second opinion. Many doctors only focus on the cancer itself and overlook what the treatment is doing to the rest of your body. Sometimes, real healing begins when you stop seeing only the cancer and start looking deeper — at what your body truly needs to repair, rebuild, and restore balance.
EXCLUSIVE ARTICLE OF THE WEEK
SPLEEN
The spleen is a physical organ involved in immune defence, blood filtration, and the recycling of red blood cells, and is not considered a primary digestive organ in modern medical understanding. However, in broader traditional health perspectives, it is also described as part of a functional system connected to digestion, energy production, and the transformation and distribution of nutrients throughout the body.

From this functional view, it is seen as playing a role in converting food and fluids into usable energy and supporting the distribution of nourishment to cells and tissues. When this function is working well, digestion tends to feel efficient, energy is steady, and overall vitality is more stable. When it is disrupted, it is associated with symptoms such as fatigue, bloating, heaviness, fluid retention, poor concentration, and reduced appetite.

Emotional strain, particularly patterns of chronic worry or overthinking, is also believed in traditional frameworks to influence this digestive-energy function, contributing to symptoms such as digestive discomfort, low energy after eating, cravings, and mental fog.

From a modern medical perspective, these same symptoms are understood as the result of multiple interacting systems, including digestion, metabolism, blood sugar regulation, stress hormones, and nervous system function, rather than being linked to a single organ alone.

Diet and lifestyle approaches aimed at supporting this function typically emphasise warm, cooked, and easily digestible foods, while ove

My passion has always been to help people heal — to help you feel better, look better, and regain your health naturally. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that true health is not about quick fixes or simply treating symptoms. It’s about understanding the body properly, identifying the root causes, and supporting the body so it can restore itself naturally.
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, and every person has taught me something valuable. Through practical experience and constant learning, I’ve seen how much more effective health support becomes when you focus on the whole body instead of just one symptom. Real health takes understanding, patience, and the willingness to keep learning.
Every month, when I spend time learning from mentors and expanding my knowledge of real health, I realize how much my passion continues to grow. The more I learn, the more I understand how much there still is to discover. This continuous learning, together with years of practical hands-on experience, makes my work easier and allows me to help people in a more meaningful way.
I want to thank every client who has supported me, sent messages, and referred others. I deeply appreciate every person who travels from across South Africa and even from international locations to come for assessments. Your trust and believe in me means a great deal to me. This work has never been just a business. It has always been a calling. Seeing people regain their energy, improve their health, and enjoy life again is what motivates me every day. To everyone who has trusted me with your health journey — thank you. Your progress, your stories, and your commitment inspire me to keep learning, growing, and helping others. My goal remains the same: to continue finding the root causes of health problems and helping people restore their wellbeing naturally.

The saying “a prophet is not acknowledged in his own land” means that people often fail to recognize or value the wisdom, talent, or significance of someone from their own community or homeland. It suggests that familiarity breeds skepticism or indifference, and individuals are more likely to be respected or appreciated by outsiders than by those closest to them.
TAKE NOTE -The medical and natural health professions are causing public alarm with frequent warnings about serious health issues like cancer, prompting people to rush to doctors for tests and deplete their medical funds. The natural health industry promotes supplements as alternatives, often with bold promises, but many products lack transparent ingredient lists, raising concerns about their legitimacy. Consumers are advised to avoid purchasing such products, as they may be marketed online primarily for profit rather than genuine health benefits.

BOODSKAP
CANCER- The medical system need to take notice
There is growing concern from many people that parts of the modern medical system, especially when it comes to cancer treatment, are not always easy on the body. Treatments like chemotherapy are designed to destroy rapidly dividing cancer cells, but they can also affect healthy cells. This is why many patients experience strong side effects and feel physically weakened during treatment.

However, it is important to be careful not to oversimplify this. Chemotherapy has helped extend and save many lives, even though it can be physically demanding. The real challenge is that it is often a trade-off between targeting the disease and managing the impact on the rest of the body. What is true, though, is that during such treatments the body is under significant stress and has increased nutritional and metabolic needs. Supporting the body properly during this time — with adequate nutrition, recovery, and medical guidance — becomes critically important.
